      Come to a great outdoor fun for the whole gang and to the endless recreational opportunities, Chehaw has an activity for every visitor. The wide recreation facility includes a campground and zoo with both native and exotic animals roaming in natural habitats. Enjoy a pristine, conservation land and a wild animal park dedicated to education. Chehaw Wild Animal Park features natural habitat exhibits with native and exotic animals, including rhinos, cheetahs, lemurs, servals, alligators and many more. Children will also enjoy a visit to the petting zoo and riding the train. The Parks at Chehaw also feature nature trails, BMX bike racing, campgrounds, RV camping hook-ups with electricity and water at each site, and one of Georgia’s largest play parks for kids. Chehaw is a unique attraction for South Georgia. Visitors can stroll through scenic boardwalks through the cypress swamps and see our many animal exhibits. Kids will love the Children’s Farm close by.Then enjoy special programs at the Amphitheater and tour the Reptile and Small Animal House.
