             Looking for a great place to spend summer in atlanta? head down a unique mix of education and outdoor family fun zoo.  Zoo Atlanta has evolved from a quaint picnic stop where people gawked at wild animals to a conservation organization seeking to engage the public in the lives of its animal ambassadors and the preservation of their counterparts in the wild.  The lushly landscaped Ford African Rain Forest, one of the most popular sections, centers on four vast gorilla habitats separated by moats. the biggest stir is the Asian Forest, home to Lun Lun and Yang Yang, two giant pandas and their first offspring, Mei Lan. From well-known native wildlife to critically endangered species on the brink of extinction, the Zoo offers memorable close encounters with more than 1,500 animals from around the world. Zoo Atlanta – Admission Prices & Discounts (Updated May 2025)

General Admission

Zoo Atlanta offers various ticket options for visitors. While full price general admission rates aren’t specified in the latest information, several discount programs are available:

  • SNAP/WIC Discount: $6 plus tax per ticket (up to six admissions) with valid SNAP/EBT or WIC card and photo ID
  • Children under 3: Free admission

Combo Tickets & Passes

  • Fun Spot America Atlanta + Zoo Atlanta: $69.76 (regular price $73.43)
  • Zoo Atlanta + LEGO® Discovery Center Atlanta: $63.17 (regular price $67.92)
  • Atlanta Zoo + Georgia Aquarium Pass: Starting from $35.26
  • Atlanta CityPASS®: Includes Zoo Atlanta and other attractions

Membership Options

  • Family Membership for SNAP/WIC Participants: $50 annually
    • Includes unlimited daytime admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children
    • In-Zoo discounts and other benefits for a full year
    • Must present valid SNAP/EBT or WIC card with photo ID at Member Services Office

Special Events

  • Brew at the Zoo:
    • General Admission: $60 for Zoo Atlanta Members; $70 for non-Members

Important Notes

  • The Zoo Atlanta Library Pass program will end on June 1, 2025. Passes can be checked out at participating libraries through May 31, 2025.
  • Vouchers already accessed through the Library Pass program will be honored through June 30, 2025.
  • SNAP/WIC discounts are limited to Georgia residents only and must be redeemed in person (not available online).
