Prairie Park Nature Center, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2023

The Prairie Park Nature Center sits on 71 acres. This zoo has more species than other zoos that call themselves zoo attractions. You can find a prairie, a lake, a study pond, and trails. The trails are both paved, which are handicapped accessible as well as rough. This zoo has a display hall which includes a large number of plants, birds, insects, amphibians, small mammals, and fish. Among the many different species include Eagles, Owls, snakes, turtles, and fossils of animal remains. The zoo also includes an educational center for kids between the ages of two to 14 throughout the week. There are also summer camps and sometimes they have events for all different ages.
