Ralph Mitchell Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


The Ralph Mitchell Zoo resides in Riverside Park which sits on 100 acres and also includes playgrounds, an aquatic center, a miniature train, a carousel, miniature golf, a lighted fountain, and picnic areas. Riverside also includes five buildings that are available to be rented to the public, and six different tennis courts. The animals at the Ralph Mitchell Zoo include black bear, cougar, elk, deer, bison, monkeys, ducks, pythons, llamas, and much more. Monkey Island is one of the favorite attractions at the zoo. This zoo also includes events and field trips for schools. The website of the park and zoo has a form that can be downloaded and filled out for reservations for field trips.

Ralph Mitchell Zoo Membership

Forpaz membership is great way to support Riverside Park and Zoo.  Forpaz is a non-profit organization established in 1976 with a goal of improving the park and zoo. Membership fees fund events,  equipment and continual up-keep at the park and zoo. 

Student Membership: $5.00

Individual or Family Membership: $25.00

Business Membership: $50.00

Patron Membership: $100.00

Lifetime Membership: $1,000.00
