The Segwick County Zoo is an accredited wildlife center of the AZA. It was started in 1971 by the Segwick County Zoological Society. It includes 2,500 animals from over 500 different species. It now ranks as the number one tourist attraction in Kansas since it started increasing the amount of visitors it has.
