Sunset Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


The Sunset Zoo, which is also known as the Sunset Zoological Park, is home to over 300 different animals from over 100 different species. This zoo was actually started in 1929 but the official opening date was not until 1933. In 1980, however, city citizens actually encouraged zoo officials to modernize the zoo. Now the zoo has an educational center including classes and camps as well as different events. The events include a calendar of events as well as rental of the zoo for private events.
