Audubon Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


The Audubon Zoo is part of the Audubon Nature Institute which also holds the insectarium and aquarium. It currently sits on 58 acres and currently has more than 2,000 animals. When visiting this zoo, you can find many rare animals including two rare white alligators that have blue eyes and one rare white tiger. The zoo also exhibits orangutans and gorillas. You can also find many other exhibits including the swamp exhibit and reptile exhibits. The swamp exhibit has many animals that are native to the state of Louisiana which include black bears, snakes, otters, and more.
