The Buttonwood Park Zoo sits on 10 acres and is located inside the Buttonwood Park. The zoo officially opened its doors in 1894 but reopened in 2000 after major new construction. The zoo house over 200 animals from the barnyard to the wild from all around the world. There are many things to do at the zoo including a calendar of events, special events, and private events for birthday parties. Visitors can also become a member, volunteer at the zoo, and even donate to the zoo.
