Stone Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


Stone Zoo sits on 26 acres of land and is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. This zoo is operated by Zoo New England which also operates the Franklin Park Zoo. The zoo opened its doors in 1905 and started out housing many local animals but later started housing exotic animals as well. Exhibits include Yukon Creek, Windows to the Wild, the Barnyard exhibit and much more. Although the zoo was founded as early as 1905, it was renovated in 1969 where it brought in many more animals to show to the public.
