Garlyn Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


The Garlyn Zoo is the largest zoo in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Some of the animals at this zoo include otters, cougars, llamas, black bears, wolves, lizards, and more. The zoo opened its doors in 1994 and is a small, family zoo. There are also many attractions including Cap-N-Carl’s gallery, Valier’s General Store, and much more. The zoo also allows for visitors to adopt animals to help support the zoo. With the zoo being open for 20 years now, there is sure to be fun for people of all ages.
