Zollman Zoo is part of Oxbow Park which can be found in Olmsted County, Minnesota. This park and zoo holds over 30 different species. Many of them were rescued by the park because they were injured and would not otherwise be able to survive in the wild on their own.

The initial process for opening the park and zoo started when 465 acres was purchased in 1967. Since 1967, the area was transformed from farm fields and badly wooded forests to beautifully landscaped preserved area. The Nature Center was finished in 1981 to make room for more educational and recreational programs and activities. Camping is also allowed at this park and zoo.
