Hattiesburg Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024


The Hattiesburg Zoo sits on 12 acres of land and is located within Kamper Park. The zoo can also be called the Kamper Park Zoo. The zoo opened its doors in 1950 and is home to over 55 different species. This zoo holds many different special public events as well as allows for it to be rented out for privately held events such as birthday parties. It also has many different educational resources for parents, students, and teachers. Not only is there always something new to enjoy at the zoo every day but they also have summer camps, critter classes, and field trips to the zoo.
