Promised Land Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024

Promised Land Zoo opened its doors in 1999. The zoo started out as a small farm when the Sanders family moved their children to a farm in Eagle Rock, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders started taking in other rare and endangered animals from other zoos and taking care of them. The zoo expanded and opened its doors under the name of The Promised Land. Eventually many people started coming by wanting to see the animals so this is why they finally opened it up to the public. The zoo also has a drive through that allows for visitors to drive through and see and pet the animals. This drive through currently has over 500 animals representing over 60 different species.
