The Saint Louis Zoological Park is also commonly called the St. Louis Zoo. This zoo is recognized as the best zoo for education, research, animal management, and conservation. This zoo is an accredited zoo by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Although admission is free, some fees are charged for a few special attractions. Some of the animals include insects, reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians, mammals, fish, and birds. The zoo also features a calendar of events and the ability to rent the zoo for the visitors own private events including birthday parties and weddings.
