Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Savings and Zoo Description for 2025


The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, or previously known as the Grizzly Discovery Center opened its doors to the public in 1993. This discovery center is open every single day of the year and one admission price can be used for two whole days. The discovery center is an accredited zoo by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

This zoo originally started out with just three grizzly bears and was then only known as the Grizzly Discovery Center. It was originally a sanctuary for bears that were removed from the wild since they ended up becoming too familiar and aggressive with humans. However, in 1995, Ogden Entertainment based in New York bought the bear sanctuary and by 1996, ten captive born wolves were added to the center. The center was eventually renamed in 2002 to the current name, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.
