Popcorn Park Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2023

Popcorn Park Zoo is a 3-sheltered zoo that was first opened in 1977. The zoo comprises 3 shelters located in Newark, Forked River and Tinton Falls. The zoo was considered as a "sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused  and elderly animals. It houses approximately 200 animals including the African elephant, Bengal & Siberian Tigers and African lions. The zoo has programs to educate visitors about animals and they also offer rescued dogs and cats for adoption.
