Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024

Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park, formerly known as Living Desert Zoological and Botanical State Park, is an animal facility and botanical garden located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. It has been an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 2002. The 1500-acre zoo houses native animal species including pronghorn, badger, bison, bobcats and mule deer. They also have an aviary that features golden eagles, hawks, owls and a roadrunner.
