New York Zoo at Thompson Park is a 32-acre zoo located in Watertown, New York. The zoo exhibits species that are, or at one time were native to New York state. These include endangered species like wolverines, bears, eagles and mountain lions.  They offer family programs that teaches conservation of wildlife. They also have school programs like scout camps that foster appreciation of nature and scientific study.
