Staten Island Zoo is an 8-acre zoo located in Staten Island, New York. It has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 1988. It is home to more than 1,300 animals representing 350 species. This includes Staten Island native animals like the groundhog. The zoo offers outdoor picnic tables and covered pavilions which are ideal for parties and group gatherings. They also have a cafe located inside the facility.
