Dakota Zoo, Savings and Zoo Description for 2025


Dakota Zoo is an AZA-accredited animal sanctuary that is home to more than 600 animals from 125 different species. Animals include several species of horses, tigers, wolves and bobcats. The zoo features the Bismarck Tribune Discovery Center which provides a hands-on learning environment with live animal and displays to educate the visitors about the wildlife. They also offers close-up animal encounters guided by skilled zoo volunteers. Furthermore, they also conduct a camp called Animal Edventures, where kids ages 5-7 meet different animals and learn how to make crafts.
