Akron Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2023


Akron Zoo is a non-profit zoo located in Akron, Ohio. It has an area of 50 acres that houses about 700 animals representing 90 species. It is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA). The zoo features the Legend of the Wild, an exhibit that includes a 25-foot waterfall and 16 animal exhibit. They also offer unique experience like Keeper for a Day and Veterinarian for a Day. The also host parties, corporate meetings, weddings and even baby showers. Come visit Akron Zoo and be amazed with the different animals you will see.
