Philadelphia Zoo is a 42-acre zoo that houses more than 1,300 animals, many of which are endangered. It is considered as one of the premier zoos because they are breeding animals that hard to breed in captivity. Addax, Blue-eyed black lemur, Western lowland gorilla and Waldrapp ibis are just some of the endangered animals that you will encounter in Philadelphia Zoo.

The zoo features variety of animal exhibits that will provide you and your family with an up close experience. They also offer guided tours, camps, scout workshops and school visits. Come with your family and be amazed by animals you haven’t seen before!
