Ellen Trout Zoo is a 15-acre zoo located in Lufkin, Texas. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). It features animals such as jaguar, Russel's viper, Galapagos Tortoise, spectacled owl, alligator and river otter. Ellen Trout Zoo is famous for its Zoo Safari, a week-long day camp for grades 1-6 students. Your kids will surely enjoy the games, crafts and daily animal encounters.
